Brief Statement: HeritageAustralia is a cultural and diverse layered landscape, which includes a large range of biodiversity and unique geodiversity structure which all provide a foundation for ancient indigenous culture and two centuries of post colonial settlement history. Australia’s biodiversity and natural exquisite land formation is the basis for Australia heritage its self, as those aspects are the foundation, of cultural importance. But due to factors such as over population and climate change, Australia’s historical natural environments have been under threat, so in order to preserve historical environmental; managements plans have been put into place to insure that these environments are preserved.

Australian Heritage

Management Efforts:The national Reserve system is an organization which is aim to preserve Australia’s natural heritage environment. As further generations of contempory Australians are now investing money and time, to protect historical environments such as sacred indigenous rock paintings, for later future generations.

Environmental State:Australia’s environmental state is stable, although there are a large number of threats which threaten the future of overall Australian Heritage. Social heritage in relation to the first Australians, the Aboriginals; is highly under threat due to social discourse. As a result of genocide and loss of the Aboriginal people’s culture, the further generations will not be able to experience what past generations did. Although a large amount of damage has been caused already, Social and environmental heritage can be sustained, by the teaching of individuals, to insure that Australia’s heritage can be preserved for future generations.

Pressures in which threaten Historical environments:• Invasion of species• Fire• Erosion• Climate change which include a rising sea levels, and frequent extreme weather events.• Population growth; as population starts to increase dramatically, land needs to be cleared in order to accommodate the housing demand. Along with land being cleared, historical land marks are also cleared away to.• Social disconnection; Contempory indigenous people are at threat of losing languages and sacred stories, which have been lost through generations.• Agriculture; In order to feed a growing population, more farms is established; as a result natural environments containing historical heritage formations are cleared.

Australian Heritage Summary:Australia contains a number of vast historical natural environments. Contempory Australians have developed an appreciation for Australians heritage environments; which include indigenous and post settlement sites. As a result Australian has invested money and time, to develop organizations to help protect these historical environments for future generation. Although there is organization which implies rules and regulations to preserve environments, there are still a large number of Australian heritages lost due to factors such as climate change, increasing population, and social factors which affect the loss of indigenous culture in Australia.

Affetcs Of Climate Change A major factor which affects Australian heritage is climate change. Climate change is caused by green house emissions which are a result of leading factors which people on earth cause; such as pollution. Climate change affects Australia’s heritage by a number of reason, such as due to an increase of climate, there is a frequent occurrence of extreme weather resulting in bush fires for example, which then can wipe historical environments out. Factors such as rise in sea level can have devastating effects on Australian natural heritage such as the Sydney Oprah house, which will be under threat if climate change proceeds to be worst.

Individuals being thought about the significance of indigenous Australians so that a part of Australia’s culture is not forever lost. 3. Following rules and guide lines set in places of high heritage value 4. Following codes and standards which organizations such ‘The National Reserve System’ conducts to preserve historical environments 5. To become evolved with organizations such as ‘The National Reserve System’
