Includes all glands that secrete chemical messengers also called hormones.Hormones alter the metabolism of target cells.Ex: Pituitary, thyroid, parathyroid, adrenal, pancreas, ovaries, testes, peneal gland, and thymus gland.
Integrates and coordinates body functions. Composed of the brain, spinal column, and nerves.Fast acting contorl system of the body. Responds to stimuli by activating muscles and glands.
Composed of muscles and tendons.Allows manipulation of the environment, locomotion, and facial expression.Mantians posture.Produces heat.
Composed of heart and blood vessels. The heart pumps the blood. The blood vessels trasnport blood throughout the body.
Composed of bone, cartilage, and ligaments.Protects and supports body organs.Provides the framework for muscles.Site of blood cell formation. Stores minerals.

Composed of red bone marrow, thymus, the spleen, lymph nodes, and lymphatic vessels,Picks up fluid leaked from blood vessels, returns it to the blood, and disposes of debres in lymphatic stream.Houses white blood cells involved with immunity.
Lymphatic System
Respiratory System
Composed of nasal cavity, pharynx, trachea, bronchii, and lungs.Keeps blood supplied with oxygen and removes carbon dioxide.
Digestive System
Composed of the oral cavity, esophagus, stomach, small and large intestines, rectum, anus, and liver.Breaks down food into absorbable units that enter blood.Eliminates indigestible food as feces.
Urinary System
Composed of kidneys, ureters, urinary bladder, and urethra.Elimnates nitrogenous wastes from the body. Regulates water, electrolytes, and pH balance.
Reproductive System (male)
Female Reproductive System (female)
Composed of mammory glands, ovaries, uteran tubes, uterus, and vagina.Main function is the production of offspring.Ovaries produce eggs and female sex hormones.
Remaining structures serve as sites for fertilization and development of the fetus.Mammory glands produce milk to nourish newborns.
Testes produce sperm and male sex hormones.Ductus glands deliver sperm to female reproductive track.
