Oregon Trail

The Oregon Trail

Started in Independance, Missouri

Ended in Oregon City, Oregon

The Oregon Trail was used from 1841 to 1849

Some of the dangers they faced were disease, famine, weather, and wild animals.

The Oregon Trail was about 2000 miles long. It took six to seven months to complete the journey.

Some of the equipment and supplies that they had included tools for fixing wagons, incase a wheel or something broke.

They also brought food, and some even brought cards and board games to play when they would stop.

They also brought guns so that they could kills animals for food if the needed it. Since they were farmers they did not have much experiance with guns.
