what nutrients are needed and how do you get them?

is it better to become a vegetarian?According to the AND, vegetarians are at lower risk for developing: Heart disease. Colorectal, ovarian, and breast cancers. Diabetes.being a vegetarian is very health for your body but, you would need to pay attention to make sure you’re getting enough vitamins or protein especially if you are vegan.”Being both an athlete and a vegetarian can be challenging, especially for vegans. It can be difficult to eat a volume of food high enough to meet an athlete's high caloric needs. Vegetarians who participate in sports should be aware of their increased energy needs, and should make a concerted effort to consume sufficient calories”-“Meat is the best source of vitamin B12, a vitamin necessary to nervous and digestive system health.”-http://vegetarian.procon.or

Random fact

you don’t have to become vegetarian but you do have to eat healthy, eating healthy can also help you body get the right vitamins and helps you have more energy and feel better but when starting to eat healthy you should start slowly adding more healthy foods in your diet before changing your diet instantly because you body is used to what you originally eat and if changing it so quickly it can hurt you stomach and can become sick. And you can become a vegetarian if you want but you would have to look more closely at what you eat and what you need to eat because when a vegetarian you don’t eat meat so getting protein would be harder. And if you’re an athlete it wouldn’t be best to become a vegetarian or vegan because protein is very important to you diet when an athlete, but it’s not impossible, it would just be harder. and eating vegetables will help you get more vitamins and people who eat fruits and vegetables will most likely have all the needed vitamins that are needed.

My S.M.A.R.T goal

Nurtients neededvitamin D (vitamin can help fight colds and depression and vitamin D is important for bone health and other benefits.) calcium (for bone health) fiber (helps fights against heart disease, reduces the risk of diabeties)vitamin A(needed for growth and development, cell recognition, vision, immune function and reproduction.) vitamin B(These essential nutrients help convert our food into fuel, allowing us to stay energized throughout the day.)vitamin E(helping to protect cells from the damage caused by free radicals. My thoughts

A recent government report found that Americans aren't getting enough calcium, fiber, magnesium, potassium, or vitamins A, C, and E. "You're not going to have a major health event as a result," says Alanna Moshfegh, an author of the USDA report
