Nuclear

1.Its dangerous if it mets down2.Relies on rare elements, Uranium or PLutonium. 3.DEADLY4. Every 18 to 24 months, a power plant must shut down to remove its spent uranium fuel, which has become radioactive waste.

Bad Points

How does it work ?The nuclear fuel generates a lot of heat. That heat is used to make steam. The steam drives steam turbine generators which make electricity. After the steam goes through the turbine, it is condensed and reused. The cooling towers cool the water that condenses the steam.

NO TO NUCLEAR

Diagram

It is a power source that runs on uranium that will not last forever. It will eventually run out so it's non-renewable.

Dzhem Nurula

Fact #11.While nuclear power plants themselves do not create carbon dioxide, sulfur dioxide, or nitrogen oxides, the mining and transportation of uranium generates harmful fossil fuel byproducts.

The world’s first nuclear power plant to create electricity for a power grid was USSR’s Obninsk Nuclear Power Plant, which opened on June 27, 1954.
