Nuclear Energy

Pros- It is a clean energy source- Creates weapons to protect

Cons- Creates radioactive byproducts- Nuclear reactors may malfunction

Comparison to Wind and Solar Energy

This type of energy requires large areas to be harnessed with power plants, and is therefore better in non-suburban and -urban areas. Also, nuclear waste is very dangerous.

Did you know that nuclear power plants generated 2577 billion kW more electricity than coal fired power plants?

Even though it costs significantly more to construct a nuclear power plant compared to coal fired power plants ($9 billion to $2 billion), nuclear power plants can generate more electricity for a cheaper rate of fuel which will save money in the long run.
