PURPOSE:The purpose of this plant project is to prove that plants need sunlight .PROCEDURES:1. I got two pansies from the store. 2. The pansies were placed in cups then they were watered. 3. I labeled one plant Amy and the other plant Beth.4. A picture was taken of both plants.5. I covered Beth with a paper bag .6. Everyday a picture was taken of Amy and Beth to see if they had changed.

DAY 2: There were no changes in the plants .DAY 3 : The flowers on Beth began to fall.DAY 4: No changes in day 4DAY 5: Some of the stems began fall on Beth.DAY 6: No changes in day 6 .DAY 7: Flowers began to die on Beth.DAY 8: No changes from 7 to 8.DAY 9: Nearly all the flowers are gone on Beth.DAY 10 :No flowers are on Beth any more.

Conclusion:After 10 days Beth started to die and Amy continued to grow. From this conclusion plants need sunlight to grow.
