Niels Bohr

Bohr was agreat scientist that contributed to multipe advancements in physics. Through experiments, Bohr therorized that atoms give off electromagnetic radiation. Also, he found that electrons lie on different levels away from the nucleus. Bohr was involved in the Quantum Theory, which states that energy is transfered in defined quantities.

Important EventNeils Bohr won the Noble Prize in 1922 for his contribution and ideas of the structure of the atom and that electrons revolve around the nucleus.

Conclusion:Overall, Niels Bohr was a great physicist who contributed to the development of the strucutre of the atom. He was also involved in the making of the Quantum Theory.
