Uses for heat energy are to power vehicles, in fireworks, and to cook.Too much heat on an object can catch it on fire.

The amount of heat outside is based on the temperature.Fire can appear when you strike a match to sandpaper. You can feel heat on your hands when you rub 2 sticks together.

Heat can move from one area to another because of differences in temperature.Heat moves from a warmer object to a colder object. The sun, fire, and vehicles give of heat energy.
