Nicholaus Copernicus

Nicholaus Copernicus proved the theory that the earth and the planets revolve around the sun and not the other way around.

Born in Torun, Poland

During his studies, Nicholaus Copernicus realized that the movement of the earth on its axis effects what we see in the night sky, and the sky in general.

To make it in history, Nicholaus Copernicus was the first person ever to create a system using math, cosmology, and physics that would be taught which proved his theory.

Nicholaus Copernicus was the founder of the Scientific Revolution.

Nickname:“Founder of Earth’s Rotations” I chose this because he was the person to act upon the theory that earth revolves the sun, not the other way around, and he also proved that the earth rotates daily on it’s axis.

Interesting Fact:Nicholaus Copernicus made all of these observations and created all of these theories without the use of a telescope or any other tools.

Another theory created by Nicholaus Copernicus was that the earth rotates on it's axis daily.
