-In the United States, about 600 children are diagnosed with neuroblastoma each year. (UCSF)-It is most common tumor found in children younger than 1 year of age.- Childhood cancer is the number one disease killer in children.-Every 16 hours a child with neuroblastoma dies.- There is no known cure for relapsed neuroblastoma.- Nearly 70% of those children first diagnosed with neuroblastoma have disease that has already spread to other parts of the body (when disease has spread at diagnosis and child is over the age of 2, there is less than a 30% chance of survival).

It is a type of cancer that affects the developing nerve cells in the brain, usually in a fetus. Neuroblastoma spreads quickly along the bodies nerves and can affect all the nerves in the brain, spinal cord and body.
What is it?
- If affects adrenal glands, located at the top of each kidney.- Could lead to bad for production of hormones- Hormones: control blood sugars in body, burn protien and fat, react to stressors like a major illness or injury, and regulate blood pressure- If all these don´t function properly it causes to have the cancer extremely deadly.
- Free dress day: pay 50 cents.- Then collect money and buy supplies to make cake.- Figure details for how many children with cancer are going to be there.- Organize date for meet up- Bake cakes, and bring yogurt and icecream.- Play with children and have a party with them.
