Neptune can be seen with binoculars. However, it looks like a tiny disc. To see more you need a large telescope.

The only space craft to visit neptune was Voyager 2 on August 25, 1989.neptune's winds are the fastest in the Solar System, reaching 2000km/hour.Neptune's blue color is largely the result of absorption of red light by methane gas in the atomosphere.
