NEONear Earth Object

In 1908, a comet exploted in the air on Tunguska. A part of the Encke entered in the earth and exploited before touching the ground. (This part had 80 meters of diameter)

A NEO crashed in the Earth about 65 millions years ago. This asteriod had between 10 and 14 km of diameter. So provably the dinosaurs extinction due to an asteroid.

Near Earth ObjectA NEO is any object not made by the humans that his orbit rounds in the Solar System.

What isa NEO?

COMETS- Is an icy small Solar System body.- When a comet close enough to the Sun, we can see it as a coma or sometimes also a tail.

METEOROIDS- Is a small particle from a comet or asteroid. (soly body)- When the meteoroid gets through the atmosfer and it survives, then is callet meteorite.

ASTEROIDS- Are a small Solar System bodies in orbite around the Sun.- Amor- Apollo- Athena .
