Negation

Use Kein/keine:- The noun to be negated has an indefinite article. Ich habe keinen Apfel. (I don't have an apple.)The word kein is positioned where the article should be. k+ein or k+eine- The noun has no article.Ich habe kein Buch ( I have no book)

Nicht : Use nitch when -the noun to be negated has a a definite article.Example: Er liest das Buch nicht. (He is not reading the book.)-The noun to be negated has a possessive pronoun.Example: Er liebt seine mutter nicht. (He does not love his mom.)
