CitiesNebraska is a great farming state and has many important cities that helped it become the state it is today, three of those cities are, Lincoln, Omaha and Grand Island. First I will tell you about Lincoln, Lincoln was made the capital in 1867, even though it is 2nd place for the largest city with 152,000 people living there. Lastly I will tell you about Grand Island, Grand Island is an important farming and manufacturing city, it is also a big part of farming from all over Nebraska, it is in 3rd place for largest city with 50,550 people living there. A great farming state is Nebraska, Nebraska has many important cities that helped it become what it is today.

Tourist AttractionsNebraska also has many tourist attractions. One is, Chimney rock as tall as 300 ft and 4,226 ft above sea level. Henry Doorly Zoo voted on tripadvisor “world’s best zoo” in 2014. Harold Warp Pioneer Village founded in 1953 it is 20 acres and has 28 buildings and 50,000 items. Nebraska has many tourist attractions.

Natural ResorcesNebraska has many natural resources. One is, farming, farming covers 95% of the land in Nebraska,corn is mostly in the east, wheat in the west, and more crops like soybeans, sorghum and hay. Soil is another natural resource it is very rich in Nebraska that is what helps them with farming. Mining is another natural resource, Nebraska mines oil, sand, gravel and limestone. A place with many natural resources is Nebraska.

Physical FeaturesPhysical Features in Nebraska are like no other, while other kids are writing about lakes and rivers I’m writing about sandhills and national wildlife refuges. Missouri river, the Missouri river is 2,341 miles long and the source is Browers spring. Next I will tell you about crescent lake, crescent lake, a national wildlife refuge, it is 28 miles from Oshkosh. . Now lets talk about the Nebraska sandhills, the Nebraska sandhills is 20,000 square miles and covers ¼ of Nebraska, because of that it is the largest sanddune in the western hemisphere.

Historical EventsNebraska has many historical events (not all of them are pretty) here are three. The Nebraska civil war unit shot the first shot of the civil war and fought in the battle of fort donelson and the battle of shiloh. Krug Park was Omaha’s first and last amusement park, when the Big dipper (a ride) filled with 23 kids and teens fell to the ground it killed 4 people and injured 17. “Bill” Hickok as he was best known shot 3 people and killed 2 then in court the jury found him innocent. A place with many historical events is Nebraska.ClimentCliment the central average for Nebraska is 50f monthly max is 76f and the minimum is 22f.
