Neal Degrasse Tyson

Neil Degrasse Tyson was born in Bronx, New York. He was given his first pair of binoculars by a friend. He was fascinated by the stars and that he can see holes in the craters. From a young age he knew he wanted to be an Astrophysicist. He went to Harvard University to study physics and learn about the stars and planets. After college, he became a researcher at the Planetarium to study how stars were formed. Since then Neil Degrasse Tyson became very succesful, he wrote many books about Astrology and hosted a science TV show called "Science Now" on PBS.


1958 - Birth1976 - graduated Bronx High School1991 - earned a degree from Havard University 2000- Completed renovation at Hayden Planetarium.2006 - The International Astronomical followed Tyson's lead 1958-????- Death

Lasting Impact

Neil Tyson was the director of The Hayden Planetarium. He was the scientist who said Pluto should come off the display of planets. Neil Tyson served as a presidential advisor in 2001 for President George W. Bush.
