Born August 15 1769 in Ajaccio, Corsica, a French colony.He was educated in French military schools and at the age of 16 joined the army as a lieutenant. In 1793 France declared war on Britain now a captin he wins victory against the British.

He was given command of the French and Austrian army but he knew that they were to week to invade Britain. So he planned to invade Egypt to disrupt Britain's trade with India at the Battle of Pyramids in July 1798. On August 1, the French fleet was destroyed by Melso at the Battle of the Nile.

Napoleon

While at the Battle of Marengo Napoleon declares himself consul for life then in 1804 he institude the Napoleonie code, crowning himself emperor. At the treaty of Tilsit, Napoleon Devided Europe with the Russain Czar Alexander the 2nd which ruined British shipping.

In 1812 Napoleon invated Russia and Defeated the Russian army at the Battle of Bortino. He marched into Moscow to find it destroyed, as he retreated, the cold winter destroyed his grand army. Europe united against Napoleon and defeated him at the battle of Leipzing in October 1813. One year after he was exiled to the Isle of Elba. He escaped and returned to France the French army was sent to capture him, but insted rellied by his side. 100 hundred days later he was defeated at the Battle of Waterloo. He was exiled to St. Helena where he died at the age 51.
