Setting
Anna Fitzgerald is tired of having to go through painful surgeries to donate organs, blood cells, and bone marrow to her older sister who was diagnosed with acute promyelocytic leukemia. At age 13, when her parents ask her to donate a kidney to Kate, she files a lawsuit for control over her own body.
Through out the lawsuit, the family still stays together and fights through Kate's cancer along with her. The book is filled with action and is unpredictable. It puts you in the shoes of a struggling family, who, in the end always stays and fights together. There are many tragedies, but it only makes them stronger.
The book was very emotional and moving and gave me a new perspective. It had action in it and I didn't want to put it down.
