"My Father's Son"

Kevin's parents are divorced and he is trying to get through school the best he can. He has everday problems that i think I and manmy others can relate too.

Chapter 1 ' 2

in these chapters, Kevin is taking the heat for his dad's actions. Everybody is ignoring him and he ended up getting into a fight becuase another kid was taunting him. Kevin has it really rough becuase people see him as "his father's son"

In these chapters kevin tries to see if there is way he can help his dad. He deicdes to call up his lawyer Mr.Barrons. He does not tell his mom becuase she told him not to do it. He meets with the lawyer but he does not tell Kevin much about his dad or what he itends to do about the situation.

In chapters 9 and 10, Kevin tries to figure out more about his dads past, and see if he could use that to help him. Kevin also realizes he needs a breather and with his moms friend coming, he would rather not be there. When he leaves he sees something in a dark alley way and discovers its a girl in his class named lani. They talk and Kevin realizes he has a lot in common with her. When Kevin gets back, he sees his mom's friend Linda leaving after first he tries to get information from her but it doesnt work. So he calls her on her phone later on and she explains about his dad and mom when they were together.

In these chapters, Kevin's dad was alegedy the DB25 monster. Kevin was trying everything in his power to figure how or what has happened, and how he can prove his dad's innocent. I admire how determined he is to help his dad.
