My Daniel is about when Julia Creath Summerwait comes to visit her son and his children, Ellie and Stevie. On one condition, that they visit the museum. She takes the kids through the museum as she tells the story of how she and her brother, Daniel, find a dinosaur. She and the children work their way up to the dinosaurs as Julia tells her story. Finally, Julia sees the dinosaur for the very first time on display, and finally julia fells she can finally let go.
