Elizabeth Proctor: Elizabeth Proctor was the wife of John Proctor, she was accused of witchery by Abigail Williams because she is in love with her husband John and she wants him "out of the picture". Tituba: She was the first person to be accused of witchcraft by Abigail Williams. Abigail Williams: Abigail Williams was the who was accusing everyone of witchcraft , which soon led to the imprisonment and deaths of many innocent people.

What spurred the Salem Witch Trials hysteria was when the people of Salem realized how much power the girls had over them. The girls blamed innocent of witchery and could have them imprisoned and hung. This was hysteria because everyone felt as though they could've been blamed next because of simply reading books

Terrorist attacks on The Pentagon & The Twin Towers spurred the hysteria bringing about fear for many weeks to years after. People did not feel safe because they felt like it could happen again , anywhere.

After 9/11 , people have had hearing, seeing, breathing, and walking implications. Loved ones were lost, over 3000 people died on September 11th, 2001. People of the United States are now prejudice against Muslims.

The Salem Witch Trials impacted their lives because the most trusted and noble people were loosing their credibility. Innocent people were being tried and killed bringing sorrow & chaos.

The Salem Witch Trials did alter the course of history. It altered the course of history through the court system, which put in place "Guilty until proven innocent".

- 9/11 did alter the course of history. It altered the course of history through the everyday life. Airports are more strict about what & who they let on planes. People are afraid to fly on planes. People are afraid of Muslims just because of the way they look basing them off of what the terrorists looked like in 2001.
