Museum Of Natural History

The Museum of Natural History is home to the world famous Hope Diamond.

The Museum of Natural History is located in the Smithsonian Institute. It was actually the first building that was built in the institute, back in 1910.

There are over 1,000 employees working in the museum each day.

The Museum owns one of the only preserved Great Auk penguin.

The Museum of Natural History has a freeze dried komodo dragon.

The admission is free, although if you want to do any extra programs will cost money.

Some examples of exhibits on display during the week of the 30th are: The The Last American Dinosaur, Portraits of Planet Ocean, The Hope diamond, and Hall of Human Orgins.

The Museum of Natural History is located near Lincoln memorial, Vietnam veterams Memorial, and the Whitehouse.

The first exhibitions were made to educate the vistors on different topics.

The Museum owns a south sea suit of armor.
