Muscular System

Skeletal Muscles attach two bones across a joint and these are the muscles we feel through our skin.

Smooth muscles are found inside the organs such as the stomach, intestines and blood vessles. They are not banded looking like the other two.

Cardiac muscle has evolved to pump blood throughout the body and it is only found in the heart and makes up the bulk of the heart’s mass

Temporalis is large, thin fan shaped muscle located in the side of the skull above and in front of the ear. It is the muscle of mastication, or chewing, and also to elevate the lower jaw and close the mouth.

Function of Muscular System:-Motion and mobility, strength, heat production, shock absorption, shaping the body also maintaining a posture and respiration.

Diseases:-MD-Muscle Disorders-Fibromyalgia

Masster is the main muscle which pulls the mandible upward.

Rectus Abdonminis, more commonly known as "abs". They are long, flat and verically stretched muscles.

The Biceps is a two-headed muscle that lies on the upper arm between the shoulder and the elbow. Both heads arise on the scapula and join to form a single muscle belly which is attached to the upper forearm

The external oblique is situated on the lateral and anterior parts of the abdomen. It is broad, thin, and irregularly quadrilateral, its muscular portion occupying the side, its aponeurosis the anterior wall of the abdomen. In most humans (especially females), the oblique is not visible, due to subcutaneous fat deposits and the small size of the muscle.
