- Born on Jan. 17, 1942- Was a gold medalist at the 1960 Summer Olympics.- Famous for being one of the best boxers.- First person in history to win three heavyweight champion titles.- Original name was Cassius Marcellus Clay, Jr.- Married four women.- Has been fined $10,000 and sentenced for 5 years in prison for draft evasion.

1942-Born on Jan.17.1960-Clay wins the light-heavyweight gold medal at the Summer Olympics.1964-Clay has his name changed to Muhammad Ali due to his religion.1971-Ali loses to Frazier at Madison Square by unanimous decision.1974-Ali gets revenge from Frazier at the "The Rumble in the Jungle".1975-Ali fights Frazier a third time and retains his belt when Frazier can't come out for the 15th round.1979-Ali announces that he retires.1980-Comes out of retirement and loses to the new heavyweight champ, Larry Holmes.1996-Ali carries the Olympic torch and ignites the cauldron to signal the beginning of the Summer Olympics.
