Mormonism

The church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (Mormonism) was founded by Joseph Smith in New York State in 1830. The first meeting was in a farm house in New York State on the 6th of April 1830.

Mormonism

There are about 14 million Mormons in the world, about the same as the number of Jews. In my reaserch, I could not find any sacred objects the Mormons belive in. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is the main place of worship for Mormons. Mormons belive in the Holy Bible (King James Version), The Book of Mormon, which is another testament of Jesus Christ, the Doctrine and Covenants. The holy days for Mormons are as listed. Like most Christians, they take Sunday off as they think it is a day of rest and worship. Most Mormons also take Monday off as a time for parents to spend time with their kids and prepare them for responsible living. Mormons only celebrate Easter and Christmas as holidays. There are many hymns to go along with the Mormon religion some being "Famlies can be Together Forever" or "Praise to the Man". Mormons don't belive in the use of alcohol, drugs, or caffeine. They also belive that Jesus came back to earth after his resurrection and spoke to John Smith and told him to write another gospel which is known as The Book of Mormon.
