Montenegro is bordered by Bosnia and Herzegovina in the northwest, Serbia in the northeast, and Albania in the south. Most of Montenegro is occupied by the Dinaric Alps. This country makes up part of the Balkan Peninsula. Towards the southwest Montenegro is bordered by the Adriatic Sea.

Philip Vujanovic is the first president of Montenegro. He was elected president on May 11, 2003. Philip was born on September 1, 1981 in Belgrade. He went to college at the Faculty of Law.

Fašinada is an ancient custom in which a string of boats from Perast sail to Gospa od Škrpjela on July 22nd. After the boats arrive they let the passangers off. The passangers toss rocks into the water and proceed into the church for mass.
