Modern architecture - Paris

La Tour Eiffel was named after the architect Gustave Eiffel and construction was completed by 1889. The building, being the largest in Paris, stands 300 meters tall. It is located on the left bank (rive gauche) of the Seine River.

Les Champs-Élysées is a 1.9 kilometers long and 3 meters wide boulevard that runs through Paris. The street goes in between the Place de la Concorde and the Place Charles de Gaulle, and it's located under the Arc de Triomphe. It has theatres, cafés, and shops along the whole boulevard, and a military parade on Bastille Day.

Le Centre Pompidou was under contruction during the 1970s by architects Renzo Piano and Richard Rogers. The building acts as a modern art museum, library, and music center. It is located on the right bank (rive droite) of the Seine River.
