MLK Speech on Vietnam War 1967

Point from King's Speech"A genuine revolution of values means in the final analysis that our loyalties must become ecumenical rather than sectional. Every nation must now develop an overriding loyalty to mankind as a whole in order to preserve the best in their individual societies." Line 460In order for individual socities to operate we must remember to look at our for eachother.

Similar Point in today's worldIn our current situation, everyone only knows fear. Fear of terrorism striking their land. Presidential candidates wanting to ban a certain group of people from entering the United States in order to keep us "safe". We are never safe honestly. Stuff happens in life. If only we could have some guts over fear. We could find new ways to help people like the Syrians. Casting them out because we feel Muslims are a threat when in reality they are just like this is a move of cowards.
