MLK Speech on Vietnam War

MLK Speech on Vietnam War 1967

Point from King's SpeechViolenceLine #53-58 "They asked if our nation wasn't using massive doses of violence to solve it's problems, to bring about the changes it wanted.Their questions hit home, and I knew I could never again raise my voice against the violence of the oppressed in the ghettos without having first spoken clearly to the greatest purveyor of violence in the world today"This quote is important because violent crimes are still occuring even if gun control has improved or other safety requirements to keep everyone safe.

Similar Point in today's worldViolence is still a major worry in our nation. Many Violent crimes have occured from mass shootings to bomb explosions, and threats (ISIS) we have received in America. For Example: The Paris attack on November 2015, a series of coordinated terrorist attacks occurred. Killed 130 victims and 7 perpetrators.Shooting at a Elementary school occurred on December 14, 2012, in Newtown, Connecticut, when a 20-year-old young man named Adam Lanza fatally shot and killed 20 children and 6 adult staff members.
