Miss Peregrine's home

By Ransom Riggs

Miss Peregrine's Home For Peculiar Children

Dear Emma,The war has almost ended, but I have made a important decision. I am moving to America to start a new life. I will send for you when I get settled. Send my love to the children at the home.Love Abe

Emma and Jacob start to fall in love

Dear Abe, We have been missing you terribly at the home. It is not the same without you here. The warm summer days are not as warm without you. I hope you are well when fighting in the war. Wish you could stand outside with me at night and watch the change over. The lights have shawn in magnificent colour recently. We anxiously await your return, Love Emma

The warmth of the sun soaks into me. The sound of squeaking runners on the dew of the grass swirl in the open air. The smell of homemade pancakes and freshly hung linen fill the air. I squint with the gleam of the sun in my eyes and sit up to find some of the children playing a game of hide and seek.

Jacob's Grandfather Dies

Jacob and his father travel to the island off the Coast of Wales where his Grandfather grew up.

I really enjoy this book. This book reminds me of my family because of the British literature. I feel that Emma is my favroite character. With her caring personality and witty attitude, she is the most relatiable character for me. I think this book has a very good story line and is very unique. Overall, the book held my interest most of the time. I would recommend this book to someone if they are interested in books the require deep thinking. Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children is a must read.

The kids get caught talking to Zombie Marvin and The Wight is chasing them.

He time traveled to the 1940's

Jacob finds Miss Peregrine's run down house.

The big idea of this book is that Jacob is not fitting into the normal world. He doesn't have many friends and his family doesn't understand. From therapists to simply just try to suck it up and deal with it, nothing worked. Then, where he least expected it, he found a place where he fit in: Miss Peregrine's home. Everyone loved Jacob and accepted his flaws as they did to one another. In my opinion, I think Jacob learned that even if you are different, there will always be people that love you just the way you are. He realised that he had to be at the right place in the right "time".

In the end, all of the children including Jacob, leave the island in sight of a new loop to make new lives.
