The Mimic Octopus
The Mimic octopus is found off of the Great Barrier Reef, in Indonesia and Malaysia, and near Lizard island. They can grow to be two feet, also their tentacles can grow to 25 centimeters. They're naturally beige, but appear to be a white and brown color to scare away predators. Mimic octopi can prey, stalk, and forage their food. They use their tentacles to capture their prey. The octopi are able to blend into their surroundings, by using their pigment sacs called chromatophores.
