My Name is Milton Snavely Hershey. I am the founder of Hershey Chocolate Company. Making chocolate is my passion. i started my first candy business at the age of 19 in Philaldelphia, Pennsylvania. However, that business was a failure due. I followed my father down to Denver, Colorado, to attempt to start another company. Nonetheless, I seemed to have financial problems which caused me to shut down every business i owned. At 29 years old, I decided to move back to Lancaster, Pennsylvania, and attempt another shot at making a successful business. I then formed the Lancaster Caramel Company. I realized this business was going to be too much of a success and i only wanted to make chocolates, so i sold my business for a whopping one million dollars, in 1900.
