Middle Colonies

The Middle Colonies have some of the widest, longest rivers. They are the greastest for traveling and trasporting goods.

The Middle Colonies

In the Middle Colonies we have the best fertile soil. That means that we have some of the greatest farmers around here.

The most amazing colonies in this region are... New York, Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware.

Some of the amazing agriculture is cattle, iron, wheat, furs, timber, and ships

In our region people that are living here came because of the religious freedom and the fur trade.

In our region we have the most population of Native American tribes. They are Algonquaqin, Fox, Erie, Miami, Wampanoag, Narragansett, Pequot

Some of the most important leaders are.. New York= Duke of York, New Jersey= Jhon Berkley, George Carteret, Pennsylvania= William Penn, Delaware= William Penn. William Penn is the leader for pennsylvania because he established quaker colony in North America. He is also the leader for Delaware because of trading and farming. Duke of York is famous for New York because he built colony on land captured from Dutch. Jhon Berkley and George Carteret were famous in New Jersey because they built colony on land captured from Dutch.

In the Middle Colonies some of the jobs are being a farmer and a miller.

If you like the warm and sunny weather then you need to sail down to the middle colonies.

The clothing the people wear were mostly bright colors like yellow, red, purple, and blue. Woman and girls keep their hair coverd at all time, but boys have long hair and wear wigs. the thread that we use is dyed with poke berries and is used to make beautiful red capes for the woman and girls. if you are a young girl you will learn how t knit right away. The best wig for all of you men is called the big wig. that means that you are wealthy. when you are a man or a boy you will weave clothes on the loom.
