MICROSCOPES STREPTOMYCES!!!!
THE DEVELOPMENT OF MICROSCOPES
Streptomyces is the largest genus of Actinobacteria, with over 500 differrent discovered types. It is used in antibacterials, antiparasitics and antifungal medicines. It is also rarely used in immmunosuppresants and anticancer drugs
In 1878, A scientist named Ernest Abbe created a mathematical theorem relating resolution to the wavelength of light. The formula made calculations of the maximum resolution of microscopes possible.
In 1981, the scanning tunnel microscope was invented by Gerd Binnig and Heinrich Rohrer, allowing the user to see 3-D images of items down to the sub-atomic level
The first microscope was made by a guy named Zacharias Janssen. In 1590, the frst microscope was made by Dutch lens makers by placing two lenses together
Did you know that the earliest microscopes were known as "Flea Glasses?"
It's Streptomyces!!
Streptomyces is found mainly in decaying vegetation and soil and are noted for their ‘earthy’ scent. Most Streptomyces produce spores to reproduce.
