During the Renaissance Michelangelo never stoped creating. He is known for being one of the best artist of that time and to many still today. Michelangelo work in many different areas of art including poetry for the last years of his life. He was a huge influence.

Michelangelo's work helped build the Renaissance. His art was so magnificent and real that it sparked a greater interest art. His art also included psychological insight that transitioned art forever.

Michelangelo painted and sculpted many different scenes and poeple from the Bible. The Pope called upon Michelangelo to come to Rome and paint The Sistine Ceiling. This was the second time the Pope had called unpon him. The first was sculptures for his tomb that had to be stoped because of funding.

Michelangelo was born March 6, 1475, and later died in Although he was born in Caprese, Italy, Florentine was always consider home. He moved to Florentine when he was six to attend grammer school. It was very obvious that he was not interested and soon began working under Ghirlandaio to learn anything he could about art.
