CELL:The nucleas disappears and the centosomes appear.DNA: The DNA condenses into chromosomes. Then synapsis occurs which involves the homologous pairs finding one another and bind at the chiasmata and form tetrads. Here, crossing over occurs which occurs at the chiasmata and exchanges genetic info and genetic variation
