Tumor cells arrange in layers. Some are solidy packed sheets.

Transition stage between arrangements of the cell.

This arrangement is similar to the early stages of the development of the central nervous system.

Facts- Occurs in both benign and malignant forms. - The tumor is displayed in the eyes.- Usually occurs in children 6 months to 5 years old.- Boys and girls are equally affected. - Occurs in the brain.- Causes pressure within the skull and often time seizures because of the pressure on the brain. - Although there is treatment such as removal of the tumor from the brain, many children still die from it.- Researchers have yet to discover how to cure or prevent this cancer.

Medulloepithelioma

Occurs in brainstem and cerebellum.

First Classified in 1926.
