-A VERY contagious disease from a virus that causes a fever and a skin rash.

Symptoms:

-Fever-Sore Throat-Runny Nose-Skin Rash

Measles usually occurs in small children

-Possible ear infection-May get pneumonia-Worst case is death

Impacts:

Chances for death is 1 out of 1,000

The Rubeola Virus attches in the throat on another cell and multiplies

First vaccine was made in 1963
