Madam C.J Walker

Madam C.J. Walker was born December 23,1867. Her real name was Sara Breedlove. She became a orphan at age seven when her parents died from an epidemic of yellow fever. She was an entrepreneur who built her empire developing hair products for black women. She was married three times. She had one daughter name Lelia. In 1918 she was a keynote speaker at many National Association. She fully recognized the power of her wealth and success. She did many lectures to promote her business. Her lectures were empowering to other women to be successful in their business. On May 25,1919,in New York ,Madam C.J Walker died from complications of hypertension.
