Growth in wind powers has been encouraged by tax breaks for renewable enery and green pricing program. New technologies are producing electricity from wind and decreasing the cost of it.

The warm air over the lands rises and expands. Cooler air rushes in to take it's place creating wind. During the day the air above us heats up more quikly then the air over the water.

Wind power can drive a turbine with propellers make electricity.Some countries, wind power is really important. Europe and the United States is where the most wind power plants in the world are located.
