Due to the fiercly cold weather in the north, very few diseases were spread between villagers.

Our state is named after a Massachusetts tribe meaning "At the Great Hill", were right on the bay foe easy ship docking, very strong belief system, and known for sparking the American Industrial Revolution

History

The colony was economically successful, engaging in trade with England and the West Indies. Their major industries were Agriculture (fishing, corn, livestock)and Manufacturing (lumbering, shipbuilding)

The basic geography consists of dense forrests, streams for reed houses, jagged coastline, and an abondance of fish.

Massachusetts Bay Colony was founded my John Winthrop and other Puritans. Originally set sail for Virginia, but blown off course. Governed as a royal province while operating under a charter.
