-Mary Wollstonecraft's ideal version of the government is men and women are equal and anyone can run for a public office. "She was opposed to monarchy (rule by a king or queen), as well as to all patriarchal(dominated by men) systems.

-She doesn't trust one person to govern. She believes that mare than one person should be able to govern at the same time. I found that Mary Wollstonecraft doesn't like monsrchys nor patriarchals.

Mary was born in 1759 in London and had a hard life. At the age of 19 she left home , angry at her family, because all the resources went to the oldest son and not her). She strongly believed in women's rights and would not get married to someone who did not. Mary wound up getting married to William Godwin. At this time she already had a child named Fanny Imlay.
