Mary Hydro Power

Hydro power is fast moving water used to make electricity. I chose hydro power because it is an important type of energy. It is important because it is one of the largest producers of electricity in the U. S.A.

Hydro PowerBy Mary Byrne

Hydro power is one of the oldest type of energy. One way to create hydro power is the water wheel. It uses huge paddles to turn the water and create electricity.

One benifit of hydro power is that it is a renewable energy. It also produces clean air. I think that hydropower will play an important roll in the future because it uses water, something that will never run out.
