She was born on May 22, 1844, in Allegheny City, PennsylvaniaShe died in 1926
I think the person who influenced her the most was Edgar Degas, because he invited her to join the immpressionists, and she admired his work, "I saw art then as I wanted to see it."

BiographyI was born into an upper-middle-class family, and people say that I inherited my ability from my mother. My first experience with art was when I was eleven, at Paris' World Fair. My family disagreed with me becoming an artist, but I still did it anyway.
