Martin Luther King, Jr. was born on January 15, 1929 in Atlanta, Georgia and he was killed on April 4, 1968 in Memphis, Tennessee.
Accomplishments
He led the 1955 Montgomery Bus Boycott. The boycott lasted 382 days.Thanks to this boycott, the Supreme Court of the United States declared unconstitutional the laws requiring segregation on buses on December 21, 1956,On October 14, 1964, King received the Nobel Peace Prize for fighting racial inequality through nonviolence.
