Martin Luther King Biography

He was born on January 15, 1929 in Atlanta and he was assassinated in Memphis on April 4, 1968. An American pastor of the Church was Baptist who developed a crucial work in the United States at the forefront of the movement for civil rights for African-Americans.

Martin Luther King Jr. Biography

Luther King, very young civil rights activist, organized and carried out peaceful activities claiming the right to vote, non-discrimination and other basic civil rights for the black people of the United States.

Four years later after winning the Nobel Peace Prize, he was killed in Memphis.

King is remembered as one of the greatest leaders and heroes in the history of the United States, and in the modern history of non-violence.
