Mars is home to the tallest mountain in the solar system, Olympus Mons. It is a shield volcano built by continous flow of lava over million years.

Mars is the fourth planet from the sun. It is named after Roman God of War.It is often described as the "Red Planet.It is 227,940,000 km from the sun. Diameter- 6, 794

Mars has 2 moons. Phobos and Deimos

There have been 40 missions to Mars. However, only 18 have been completed. Mars Curiosity, which is a rover has helped in these completed missions.
