Marie Curie Was born november 1867 in Warsaw Poland.She was the First woman to be awarded the Nobel Prize.She died July 1934.

Marie Curie was known to do work with radiation which had a hand in her death. Later in her life she went to France to get a little better health wise. She later died of aplastic anemia (wich is caused by exposure to radiation).

Maraie Curie and her husband (both physicists) dicovered radium and Marie came up with the word radioactivity.We still use the word today.
