Marie Curie

Marie Curie was a radiologist during World War I. She was an innovator who saved countless soldiers' lives through the use of x-rays. She was successfully able to convince the French government to allow her to set up a radiology center and converted several cars into mobile medical stations, such as the Petite Curie. These stations aided doctors by exposing bullets, shrapnel, and broken bones with the use of x-Rays.

She was a director of the Red Cross Radiology service and used her connections to create the mobile medical stations stated earlier. Her innovations in Radiology and X-Ray technology allowed doctors to perform necessary surgeries to save soldiers lives. The morals by which she lived by inspired her to get involve and help people.
