Marie Curie was born in Warsaw,Poland. She was the 5th and youngest daughter of a secondary -school teacher.Her mom and sister passed away in her early years.Marie won the Nobel Prize(Pierre also won it)She took place of her husband as Professor of General Physics in faculty of sciences.She died in Passay,France.

Nov.7 1867- Marie was born.1895-Marie married Pierre1898- The Curie's discovered polonium.1903- The Royal Sweedish Academy of Sciences awarded the Curies with the NobelPrize.1906- Pierre, Marie's husband died.1911-Marie received her 2nd Nobel Prize.July 4 1934- Marie Curie died.

Marie has affected our world today by changing the way skin damage and cancer is treated.During war she made xrays possible for injured soldiers.
